Check Point - How To Export CPView History - CLI

Check Point CPView Utility allows to export CPView history database as gzip (.gz). During the action, history daemon will be stopped and started back again automatically once the export is finished.

Syntax:

cpview history export

Example:

[Expert@CP-Gateway-R77]# cpview history export
Stopping the history daemon
cpwd_admin:
Process HISTORYD terminated
cpwd_admin:
successful Del operation
Exporting the database

Exported DB to /var/log/CPView_history/exported_db_13_02_2015_1111.gz
Starting the history daemon
cpwd_admin:
