Check Point - GAiA - How To Backup Locally - CLI

In Check Point GAiA firewall or security management, 'backup local' command can be used in cpshell to create local backup. 'show backup status' command can be used to monitor backup creation process.

Syntax:

backup local

Example:

CheckPoint-GAiA-GW> backup local
Creating backup package. Use the command 'show backup status' to monitor creation progress.
In order for the backup to be effective you should copy the file outside the machine.

CheckPoint-GAiA-GW> show backup status
