In Check Point, SNMP daemon (snmpd) can be started, stopped or restarted using command "/sbin/service snmpd stop|start|restart". The command need to be executed in expert mode. It works on both SecurePlatform (SPLAT) and GAiA operating system.
/sbin/service snmpd start
/sbin/service snmpd restart
