In Check Point, CRON daemon (crond) can be started, stopped or restarted using command "/sbin/service crond stop|start|restart". The command need to be executed in expert mode. It works on both SecurePlatform (SPLAT) and GAiA operating system.
/sbin/service crond start
/sbin/service crond restart
Stopping crond: [ OK ]
