dmidecode is a tool used to collect system hardware information from SMBIOS (System Management BIOS). The tool is included in standard installation of most of the Unix/Linux based operating systems.
It comes handy to view hardware information not limited to Manufacturer, Product Name, Version, Serial Number, UUID, Wake-up Type, SKU Number & Family.
dmidecode -t system
SMBIOS 2.4 present.
